Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sushi Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, hygiene, and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement BRC Technical Standard consistently across all operations.
  • Take ownership of responsibilities and ensure team members understand their tasks and duties.
  • Cultivate a positive working environment with effective communication and teamwork.
  • Report any daily issues promptly to supervisors.
  • Ensure that all staff adhere to procedures throughout the factory.
Shift Hygiene Team Lead:
  • Maintain strict adherence to hygiene schedules and factory standards.
  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve quality, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with the engineering function on routine maintenance and cleaning, and the production function on line setup and start-up.
  • Regularly review and update hygiene standards, cleaning procedures, and equipment according to best practices, customer guidelines, and legislation.
  • Develop and train site hygiene activities with team members to maximize potential, flexibility, and skill levels.
  • Maintain open communication of factory hygiene standards across shifts.
  • Respond to audit reports and corrective action summaries.
  • Prepare documentation to support Hygiene Operation, including chemical data sheets and training records.
  • Assist in planning and delivery of customer audits and visits.
  • Ensure all work adheres to Quality Management System and Health and Safety Management System processes and procedures.
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
