The Role
We're seeking a skilled Pricing Modelling Analyst to join our Retail Pricing team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for building, innovating, and productionising predictive models used in our proprietary Retail Pricing suite. Your work will have a direct impact on prices, customer experience, and commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain predictive models using Python and its data science ecosystem.
- Work closely with the Senior Pricing Analyst to implement changes to price selection logic based on trading performance.
- Collaborate with the Retail Pricing team, Technical Pricing team, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and Marketing Experts to provide actionable insights and improve commercial trading performance.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience as an analyst in Insurance, Financial Services, Retail, Travel, or a similar fast-paced industry.
- High-quality numerate degree (Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, etc.).
- Understanding of statistics and machine learning best practices.
- Competent in Python and its data science ecosystem for data manipulation, data visualization, and statistical modelling.
- Excellent data manipulation and reporting skills using SQL and MS Excel.
