Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist/Health Psychologist/Behavioural Therapist to join our diabetes services team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist support and guidance on client psychological care to other professionals. You will also be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to clients with diabetes and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' psychological needs and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT)
  • Provide consultation and education to other healthcare professionals on client psychological care
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of care to clients
  • Develop and implement service quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Doctorate in Health Psychology or equivalent qualification
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Registered Health Psychologist
  • Postgraduate training in CBT or other relevant therapeutic approaches
  • Experience working with clients with diabetes and their families
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
Salary:

£50,442 - £62,067 per annum (inclusive of London weighting)
