Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with customs and export control regulations and their implementation into business and IT processes.
  • Monitor legislative procedures and assess their impact on our business, including the timely filing of customs and tax returns.
  • Design, enable, and operate tax, customs, and export control management processes and systems to ensure compliant operations.
  • Create and maintain customs and export control process documentation and work instructions in accordance with management approvals.
  • Manage risk and ensure the proper tax base is used in accordance with legal and internal requirements.

Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent in business administration, economics, or law, or vocational training in economics with additional qualifications.
  • Working experience in customs/export control in a global corporation, with tax knowledge beneficial.
  • Process modelling and SAP knowledge (ERP/S4HANA/SD/MM/SRM/GTS) and German language skills are preferred.
  • Excellent expertise and proficiency in process design, analysis, planning, and decision-making.
