At BMW Group, we're seeking a Customs Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you'll ensure compliance with customs and export control regulations, implementing them into our business and IT processes. Your expertise will be crucial in monitoring legislative procedures and assessing their impact on our UK and Ireland entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with customs and export control regulations, implementing them into business and IT processes.
- Monitor legislative procedures and assess their impact on BMW UK entities.
- Design, enable, and operate tax, customs, and export control management processes and systems.
- Create and maintain customs and export control process documentation and work instructions.
- Manage risk and ensure proper tax base usage to avoid administrative offenses.
Requirements:
- University degree in business administration, economics, or law, or equivalent experience.
- Working experience in customs/export control in a global corporation, with tax knowledge beneficial.
- Process modelling and SAP knowledge (ERP/S4HANA/SD/MM/SRM/GTS) and German language skills are preferred.
- Excellent expertise in process design, analysis, planning, and decision-making.
