Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Marine Consultant - Consenting to join our Marine Renewables and Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will have a detailed knowledge of the EIA and consenting process for at least one major marine development sector in the UK, i.e., offshore renewables; subsea cables; marine minerals.

About the Role

The role involves providing high-level project management and coordination with technically-focused employees in the Marine Renewables & Infrastructure Team to deliver reports and studies to clients. Key sectors include Offshore Wind and Subsea Cables.

The ideal candidate will have overall responsibility for leading and managing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications. In addition, management of external subcontractors and associates contributing to Marine project delivery is an integral element of the position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provision of consenting, permitting, and general EIA support to existing and future client base;
  • Project management and coordination with technically-focused employees;
  • Detailed interaction with key clients on all aspects of project delivery;
  • Management of external subcontractors and associates;
