Senior Specification Technologist Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Specification Technologist to lead our team in creating and implementing product specifications that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage critical path timelines for new and existing products
  • Coordinate the creation of product specifications and artwork with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Evaluate artwork against legal requirements and customer standards to ensure compliance
  • Foster strong relationships with customer design/technical teams and printers to meet deadlines
  • Verify customer specifications are accurate and up-to-date in internal systems
  • Train and supervise a team of Specification Technologists to achieve commercial, technical, and customer expectations
  • Oversee internal packaging and ingredient specifications to maintain alignment

About You:

  • Prior experience in the food manufacturing industry is essential
  • A degree in a relevant field is desirable but not mandatory
  • Strong knowledge of labelling laws and retailer specifications is required
