Job Description:
As a Head of Project Management Specialist at Hitachi Vantara Corporation, you will play a crucial role in enabling green energy transition by building customized embedded control systems. With a strong focus on interface integration, scope management, time management, cost management, stakeholder management, risk management, procurement management, communication management, quality management, and safety and integrity, you will contribute to delivering world-class technology and developing the best HVDC solutions for our customers.

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, minimum 3 years of experience working in the UK, and fluency in English to communicate with both customer and project team. The ideal candidate should have experience in engineering with project management, be a team player, work in an analytical and structured manner, and take responsibility for their work, project team members, and deliver on time.

Responsibilities:
  • Interface integration: Taking responsibility for planning, managing, and controlling interfaces and assuring that all interface points are clearly defined and documented.
  • Scope management: Identifying scope creep and securing that additional customer requests are managed as variation orders.
  • Time management: Ensuring all interface deliverables have proper delivery dates linked to the overall project schedule.
  • Cost management: Understanding the costs associated with interfaces and identifying potential cost exposure.
  • Stakeholder management: Mapping stakeholders of interface deliveries and planning how to manage and control them.
  • Risk management: Ensuring interface risks are properly identified and mitigation actions are in place.
  • Procurement management: Reviewing and validating interface agreements.
  • Communication management: Managing communication with stakeholders on interface matters.
  • Quality management: Securing relevant interface requirements are properly considered in the Project Quality Plan.
