Vehicle Inspection Professionals

Igloo is seeking skilled professionals to fill the role of Vehicle Inspectors. This position will be based across three sites on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent.
As a Vehicle Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of vehicles prior to them being handed over to transport companies or carriers. Your primary objective will be to ensure that the service provided is of the highest standard every time.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Performing outbound vehicle inspections to identify any damage or issues.
- Accurately recording damage using handheld technology and software, and taking photographs to document the damage and its location.
- Ensuring that exit documentation is completed by authorized personnel on site, where damage or issues are found with vehicles prior to the load leaving.
- Adhering to company inspection guidelines and processes.
- Working confidently as part of a team and independently.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to:
- Demonstrate your previous experience, knowledge, and understanding of working within Vehicle Inspection.
- Display an excellent eye for detail and a thorough understanding of inspection standards.
- Quickly learn new systems and inspection standards.
- Complete inspections within a set timeframe while maintaining the highest standard of inspection.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills.
- Possess a full UK driving license.
