About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Test and Inspection Engineer to join our team at Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL). As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough electrical inspections and testing to identify and rectify any defects or issues
  • Work alongside experienced colleagues to maintain and repair electrical systems, catering equipment, and other facilities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety requirements and regulations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve team goals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans and schedules
Requirements
  • At least five years of experience working as an electrician
  • Two years of experience working in a role as a test and inspection electrician or equivalent
  • Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical systems and catering equipment
  • Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
  • Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
  • C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation)
  • C&G Electrical inspection and testing
  • NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge
