About the Role:

As a Senior Project Manager at Mace, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end project management across the project lifecycle, meeting defined time, cost, technical performance, and quality requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Establish effective project controls, governance, and processes to manage the project

• Work with the client and key stakeholders to drive the master project schedule, holding the team to account on key deliverables, reporting on risk and early warnings to advise the client of key decisions or items of escalation

• Prepare funding requirements and support business case development for client approval prior to execution of the works

• Develop and manage effective communication and liaison with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure that requirements are identified, assessed, and appropriately integrated into the project

Requirements:

• Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE, or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development

• Substantial experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the public sector

• Property or infrastructure project management expertise, commercial and financial acumen, and experience of leading parts of projects within large, diverse teams

• Experience of developing and forming relationships with senior stakeholders, knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on

• Contract administration duties and experience managing projects using various standard forms of contract, including JCT, FIDIC, and NEC

• A passionate, client-focused individual who can build lasting client relationships and work well as part of a team
