Job Summary:This full-time 12-month fixed-term/secondment role requires a highly skilled and motivated individual to work as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner in the North Dorset & PED team.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with a multi-disciplinary team to provide mental health support to families.
- Attend group-based MDT supervision and personal supervision to develop skills and knowledge.
- Develop good therapeutic relationships with clients and evaluate the effectiveness of training.
- Post Graduate Certificate or Level 3 undergraduate course in a relevant field, or equivalent experience and qualifications.
- Experience of working with people who have experienced mental health problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including telephone skills.
- Demonstrates high standards in written communication, able to write clear reports and letters, and evaluate the effect of training.
Salary and Benefits: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package including pension scheme, flexible working hours, and opportunities for professional development.
