Learning Disability Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Learning Disability Nurse to join our Oldham Adult Learning Disability Team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist health and behaviour assessments to individuals referred to our service.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive assessments for individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Develop and implement interventions and specialized care plans.
- Work in partnership with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure responsive, effective, and person-centered services.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Participate in local and regional specialist networks.

Person Specification- Registered Nurses Learning Disabilities (RNLD)
- Post-registration training or willingness to undertake training plus experience to postgraduate diploma level.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
- Experience in delivering advice and support to a wide range of people.
- Experience in partnership working and managing risk.
