Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Engineering Lead - Machine Vision to join our team.

The successful candidate will have an estimated annual salary of £65,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, including relocation assistance for eligible candidates and a flexible benefits scheme tailored to their needs.

About the Role

You will lead projects from initial scoping and proposal to full design, development, and installation, collaborating closely with engineering teams across manufacturing and R&D.

The ideal candidate will have a formal qualification in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline, and proven experience integrating vision systems and automated inspection solutions.

Key responsibilities include leading the development of a departmental Machine Vision strategy, sourcing and supplier selection, and collaborating closely with engineering teams across manufacturing and R&D.

The successful candidate will also have programming skills in C/C# and familiarity with code readers, as well as knowledge of control systems (Siemens S7 or Allen Bradley PLCs is a plus).

Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development of a departmental Machine Vision strategy, including sourcing and supplier selection.
  2. Collaborate closely with engineering teams across manufacturing and R&D.
  3. Develop and implement automated inspection solutions using Cognex and Keyence.
