We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Systems Specialist to join our team at Leonardo. As a Principal Digital Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance digital hardware for self-protection systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-speed digital Printed Circuit Boards using the latest FPGA, Microprocessor, and interconnect technologies.">
  • Support the integration of hardware, firmware, and software components within projects.">
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source key components and assemblies.">
  • Develop and implement design-for-manufacturability and test strategies.">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in electronic engineering, physics, or related fields, along with experience in mixed-signal design, debugging, testing, and verification. You should also be proficient in tools such as Matlab and Simulink.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £90,000 per annum, with a range of benefits, including a company-funded benefits package, access to private healthcare, dental schemes, Workplace ISA, Go Green Car Scheme, technology and lifestyle options (£500 annual allowance), 25 days' holiday, option to buy/sell leave, and an award-winning pension scheme (up to 15% employer contribution).
