Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to join our team as a Senior Electronics Designer. The successful candidate will work with experts in their field, using world-class facilities to deliver electronic hardware for complex electronic systems that meet challenging future customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. The Senior Electronics Designer will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance digital hardware that forms part of our self-protection systems installed on fast jet, UAV, land, and naval platforms.
  2. The role involves working with mixed signal ADC/DAC, FPGA, SoC based design for high-performance signal processing, communications, and control.
  3. Requirements definition, analysis, architecture development, PCB design, component engineering, design verification & qualification testing, test & debugging, production support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Mixed signal ADC/DAC, FPGA, SoC based design for high-performance signal processing, communications, and control.
  • Requirements definition, analysis, architecture development.
  • PCB design, component engineering.
  • Design verification & qualification testing, test & debugging, production support.
  • A structured approach to electronic design.
  • Electronics test methods and equipment.
  • Model driven engineering using Matlab and Simulink tools.
  • 5 years UK residency and capable of achieving full SC security clearance with access to UK Eyes Only and ITAR export control information.

Salary

£60,000 - £80,000 per annum depending on experience.
