Hardware Systems Design Engineer

We are looking for students who are passionate about hardware design and eager to learn and develop in a practical, hands-on environment. As a Hardware Systems Design Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that contribute to our business and technical solutions.

Salary: £25,000 per annum

About the Role:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and develop mixed-signal and FPGA-based hardware systems
  • Test, evaluate, and refine hardware designs in laboratory settings to meet performance and environmental standards
  • Document the design, testing, and evaluation process, sharing insights and results with stakeholders
  • Work within multidisciplinary teams to ensure the seamless integration of hardware systems into broader electronic warfare solutions
  • Support continuous improvement efforts for hardware development processes and methodologies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Working towards a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field with a strong interest in hardware design
  • Basic knowledge of ADC/DAC and FPGA design is beneficial, but prior experience is not required. Training and mentoring will be provided
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with excellent teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to collaborate and grow in a dynamic environment
