About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing clinical leadership and expertise to our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership and supervision to junior staff, including support staff and assistants.
- Develop and implement policies, protocols, and care pathways to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Support the delivery of occupational therapy student placements and ensure a positive learning experience.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service-wide initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Occupational Therapy profession qualification and UK HCPC Registration.
- Extensive post-qualification clinical experience working with children and young people with complex needs.
- Proven expertise in applying occupational frames of reference and approaches.
- Highly effective clinical reasoning skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Specialist knowledge of relevant assessment and treatment models.
- Ability to work with neurodiverse individuals and their families.
