About the Role:


We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our internal leadership team as a Senior Education and Care Coordinator. This role requires a leader who can effectively manage a team of Education Health and Care Plan Coordinators and administrative staff.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Leading a team of Education Health and Care Plan Coordinators and administrative staff
  • Supporting the team with a range of statutory work, including complex casework, conflict resolution, and Tribunal cases
  • Producing high-quality Education Health and Care Plans for children and young people across the 0-25 age range
  • Ensuring compliance with the Children and Families Act and the Equality Act

About You:


We are looking for an inclusive leader who values diversity and promotes a culture of respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will be an experienced individual with substantial working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, the SEND Regulations, and the Equality Act.


Key Qualifications and Experience:



  • Substantial working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice, the SEND Regulations, and the Equality Act
  • Line management experience and champion for children and young people with SEND
  • Highly literate and an excellent communicator
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, including families, children, young people, schools, colleges, health, and social care
