Payroll Management Professional

In the Finance department of Progeny, we are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to lead our dynamic team during a period of maternity leave. This 12-month fixed term role is an exciting opportunity for a professional with end-to-end payroll management experience and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process monthly payrolls accurately and efficiently.
- Manage calculations for amendments, adjustments, deductions, holiday pay, and statutory payments.
- Process new starters/leavers, benefits, P11Ds, Statutory Leave and pay including SSP, SMP, and SPP.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding all payroll-related queries and issues.
- Ensure compliance with pension administration regulations.
- Conduct year-end routines, including P60s and P11Ds.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in a comprehensive Payroll management role (essential).
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax, and PAYE (required).
- Knowledge of pension processing (desired).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
