Job Title: Mechanical Installation Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Installation Supervisor to join our team at Trant Engineering Limited. As a Mechanical Installation Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising mechanical installation works, liaising with design and procurement teams, and communicating plans and programmes with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise mechanical installation works, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  2. Liaise with design and procurement teams to facilitate installation and ensure timely completion of projects.
  3. Communicate plans, programmes, and safe systems of work with project stakeholders, ensuring their understanding and compliance.
  4. Day-to-day planning, organisation, supervision, and control of mechanical installation, including pipework, pumps, steelwork, etc.
  5. Scope new works, surveys, and oversee subcontractor works.
  6. Supervise direct workforce and work alongside other trades in the utilities industry.

Requirements:

  1. Strong commitment to health and safety, ensuring tasks are planned and executed safely and efficiently.
  2. Installation background within the water, power, or other heavier industrial sectors.
  3. SSSTS / SMSTS qualification.
  4. JIB Mechanical Pipefitter or equivalent qualification.
  5. CSCS Card.
  6. Full UK Driving License.
  7. Computer Literate.
