Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Installation Supervisor to join our team at Trant Engineering Limited. As a Mechanical Installation Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising mechanical installation works, liaising with design and procurement teams, and communicating plans and programmes with project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise mechanical installation works, including pipework, pumps, and steelwork.
  • Liaise with design and procurement teams to facilitate installation.
  • Communicate plans, programmes, and safe systems of work with project stakeholders.
  • Day-to-day planning, organizing, supervision, and control of mechanical installation.
  • Scope new works and surveys.
  • Oversee subcontractor works.
  • Supervise direct workforce.
  • Work alongside other trades in the utilities industry.

Requirements:

  • Strong commitment to health and safety.
  • Installation background within the water, power, or other heavier industrial sectors.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS qualification.
  • JIB Mechanical Pipefitter or equivalent qualification.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Full UK Driving License.
  • Computer Literate.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • C&G Medium Risk Confined Space.
  • Telehandler ticket.
  • Mobile Tower Erection (e.g. PASMA).
  • Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (e.g. IPAF).
  • First Aid at Work.
