Job Title: Mechanical Installation Supervisor

Trant Engineering Limited is a leading engineering and construction company with a strong presence in the UK and overseas. We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Installation Supervisor to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising mechanical installation works, liaising with design and procurement teams, and communicating plans and programs with project stakeholders. This is a non-working role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise mechanical installation works, including pipework, pumps, and steelwork
  2. Liaise with design and procurement teams to facilitate installation
  3. Communicate plans and programs with project stakeholders
  4. Day-to-day planning, organizing, and supervision of mechanical installation
  5. Scoping new works and surveys
  6. Overseeing subcontractor works
  7. Supervision of direct workforce

Requirements:

  1. Installation background in the water, power, or heavier industrial sectors
  2. SSSTS / SMSTS certification
  3. JIB Mechanical Pipefitter or equivalent qualification
  4. CSCS Card
  5. Full UK Driving License
  6. Computer Literacy
