Babcock International Group is committed to creating a safe and secure world, and we're seeking a skilled Leading Technician (TMEC) to join our team at RAF Shawbury.

The Role

As a Leading Technician (TMEC), you'll play a critical role in supporting military training across RAF Shawbury and its parented responsibilities. You'll work within the Testing and Measuring Equipment Centre to test tools/equipment parameters and complete relevant paperwork for third-party use.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to ensure the smooth operation of the unit.
  • Develop expertise in military software to effectively complete daily tasks.
  • Drive better outcomes in line with business requirements.

This is a full-time position based on site at RAF Shawbury, working a 9-day fortnight (72hrs over 9 days, week 1= 32hrs, week 2= 40hrs), with flexibility to choose your day off in week 1.

Essential Experience

  • Electrical or Mechanical Technician background with calibration experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to engage and influence people from all backgrounds.
  • Computer literacy.

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
