Babcock International Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leading Technician TMEC to join our team at RAF Shawbury site.

The Role

As a Leading Technician TMEC, you will play a critical role in supporting military training across RAF Shawbury and its parented responsibilities with the control of the Testing and Measuring Equipment Centre in line with the individual site contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work within the Testing Measuring Equipment Centre to test tools/equipment parameters and complete relevant paperwork so equipment can be sent to third parties for use.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and clients to ensure the smooth running of the unit.
  • Be trained on military software to effectively complete day-to-day tasks.
  • Influence and deliver better outcomes in line with business requirements.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Electrical or Mechanical Technician background, with calibration.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and influence people from all backgrounds and at all levels.
  • Computer Literate.

Security Clearance:

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
