About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Health and Safety Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical advice and guidance on health and safety matters to staff and management
  • Conduct risk assessments and investigations to identify and mitigate potential hazards
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance and progress against targets
  • Provide training and support to staff on health and safety matters
Requirements
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
  • CoSHH Assessor Qualification
  • GCSE level 4 or above in Maths
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
