About the Role

This exciting opportunity involves working closely with the solicitor's accounts team to ensure accurate processing of client and business payments, reconciling bank accounts, and managing the banking system for all payments.

  • Reconciliations of client and business bank accounts and petty cash
  • Checking banking forecasts and applying funds where necessary
  • Management of banking system for all payments including CHAPS, BACS and FPCs
  • Setting up and completing CHAPS transactions as required by fee earners
  • Completing bank deposit books
  • Calculating and applying client interest
  • Maintaining client ledgers
  • Running housekeeping system reports

The successful candidate will have up-to-date knowledge of solicitor's accounts rules and be able to demonstrate a strong track record of experience as a Legal Cashier or higher.
