We are seeking a skilled People Advisor to join our team on a 2-year fixed-term contract. As a part-time role, you will have the flexibility to work up to 30 hours per week, with a mandatory day in the office on Wednesdays.

About the Role

  • Provide expert employment advice, leveraging your knowledge of Employee Relations (ER) to address complex casework and identify trends using people data.
  • Proactively recommend actions to mitigate risks and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the Policy Working Group to manage the policy review schedule, develop policy options, and support consultations with trade unions.
  • Produce regular reports, analyze people data, and ensure policies comply with employment legislation, contributing to data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of ER and Employment Law.
  • Experience of working with unions.
  • Ability to coach and advise managers.
  • Able to communicate at all levels.
