Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Adult Autism Practitioner to lead staff training and development, conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments, and implement Behaviour Support Plans.

  1. The ideal candidate will have expertise in staff training and development, functional behaviour assessment, behaviour support planning, and incident analysis.
  2. The successful candidate will also have a formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support and be qualified to work towards Instructor Level of PROACT SCIP -UK.
  3. Additionally, they should have familiarity with relevant legal frameworks, e.g. Mental Capacity Act (2005), DOLS.
  4. They will also be required to complete behaviour assessment tools and write reports to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of PBS interventions
  • Coordinating practice workshops to implement BSPs
  • Providing consultation services to peripatetic teams

Requirements

  • A formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support

  • Competitive salary: £42,000 - £58,000 per annum
