Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Powered Access Equipment Inspector to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a key member of our industrial hire business, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining our fleet of powered access equipment, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and maintain powered access equipment, including cherry pickers, scissor lifts, and aerial work platforms
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) to ensure equipment is in good working order
  • Complete repairs and maintenance tasks on a variety of equipment
  • Work closely with the hire desk to ensure equipment is readily available for customers
  • Complete all relevant checks and engineering paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Travel to client sites to fix breakdowns when required

Requirements:

  • CAP qualification for powered access equipment
  • IPAF Demonstrator grades 1B, 3A, and 3B
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Full UK driving license
