CAP Engineer (Powered Access / LOLER)

We are seeking a skilled CAP Engineer with a background in powered access to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a key member of our industrial hire business, you will be responsible for maintaining and upkeeping of powered access equipment, carrying out PDI's, completing repairs, and working in partnership with the hire desk to ensure all equipment is readily available for customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and upkeep of powered access equipment
  • Carry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI's)
  • Complete repairs on the varied fleet
  • Work in partnership with the hire desk to ensure equipment availability
  • Complete relevant checks and engineering paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Travel to client sites to fix breakdowns when required

Requirements:

  • CAP qualification for powered access equipment
  • IPAF demonstrator grades 1B, 3A, and 3B
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Full UK driving license
