We are seeking a skilled CAP Engineer with a background in powered access to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a key member of our industrial hire business, you will be responsible for maintaining and upkeeping of powered access equipment, carrying out pre-delivery inspections, and completing repairs on our varied fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair powered access equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections to ensure equipment meets safety standards
  • Work with the hire desk to ensure equipment is readily available for customers
  • Complete all relevant checks and engineering paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
  • Travel to client sites to fix breakdowns when required

Requirements:

  • CAP qualification for powered access equipment
  • IPAF demonstrator grades 1B, 3A, and 3B
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Full UK driving license
