Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Sales Manager to join our team at Vertiv. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing the Thermal and Generator Remedial teams, providing strategic direction and technical assistance to deliver our sales strategy successfully in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve remedial service sales targets in the UK.
  • Provide coaching and training to team members to ensure they are knowledgeable about Thermal and Generator remedial service offerings and competent in cross-selling.
  • Work closely with other department leads to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet company standards.
  • Create a strategic plan and guidelines for the team to follow, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
  • Maximize conversion of existing opportunities and ensure regional and overall targets are met.
  • Work directly with customers and FM's to provide vision and strategy to fit their current and future requirements.
  • Explore and uncover additional business opportunities and provide a strategy for the team to deliver within their regions.
  • Develop talent through regular coaching and open communication sessions with team members.
Requirements
  • A sound knowledge and understanding of the Thermal and Generator market.
  • An understanding of business-critical applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A decisive nature and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A proven track record of managing others.
  • Computer literate.
  • A minimum of 2 years sales experience.
  • Self-disciplined and motivated.
