About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Experience Optimization Specialist - Google Ads to join our Global Technology Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing Charles River's Google Ads accounts for seven business lines and corporate brand.

This remote position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop, deliver, and implement strategies for Google Ads optimization to meet business and website goals. You will work closely with our marketing team stakeholders to drive decision-making and improve cost savings through keyword refinement and targeting enhancements.

Your expertise in Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, SEMRush or similar SEO tools, and Microsoft Office products will be essential in executing your responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Pull monthly Google Ads performance reports to identify areas for improvement and make proactive recommendations.
  • Meet regularly with team members to discuss Google Ads recommendations, approvals, and updates on outstanding tasks.
  • Perform weekly maintenance of the account, including negative keyword refinement, bid changes, ad disapprovals, and problem keyword identification.
  • Partner with SEO specialists to enhance keyword recommendations.
  • Set up new campaigns according to best practices and align with existing strategy.
  • Educate team members on Google Ads best practices, including adherence to internal workflows.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in communications, marketing, advertising, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of directly related Google Ads experience.
  • Experience managing and setting up Google search, display, shopping, and video ads.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with core stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, SEMRush or similar SEO tools, and Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Life Sciences industry.
