About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our organization as a Senior Project Management Office (PMO) team member. As a PMO member, you will be responsible for supporting and facilitating project management activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop project plans, set objectives, and define deliverables. Assist in the creation and maintenance of project schedules, milestones, and critical paths. Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential issues or risks.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Develop and maintain project documentation, including project charters, requirements, and specifications. Generate regular reports, dashboards, and status updates for project stakeholders, providing comprehensive insights on project progress, budget utilization, and resource allocation.
  • Resource Management: Support project managers in resource allocation and tracking. Assist in resource capacity planning, identifying potential gaps or conflicts, and proposing appropriate solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with project teams to establish and enforce quality control standards. Develop and implement project management best practices, methodologies, and processes. Conduct regular project audits to ensure compliance and adherence to quality standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners. Facilitate meetings, workshops, and other collaborative sessions to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and drive decision-making.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess project risks, providing recommendations for risk mitigation strategies. Monitor and track identified risks throughout the project lifecycle and assist in developing contingency plans as necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvement initiatives within the PMO by evaluating existing practices, identifying opportunities for enhancement, and implementing streamlined procedures to optimize project management efficiency.
Requirements
  • Project Management Experience: Proven experience working in a project management environment, preferably in a PMO or similar capacity. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Security Protocol Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of security protocols, data protection standards, and information security best practices. Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or similar.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex situations, identify critical issues, and provide effective solutions. Attention to detail is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities, including the ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
  • Team Player: Collaborative and team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in project management software and tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or equivalent. Experience with document management systems and collaboration platforms is a plus. Certifications (preferred but not required): PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications.
