Job Title: 1st / 2nd Line Support - System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Administrator to maintain our IT systems and networks, executing technical and administrative tasks to ensure maximum efficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic and ambitious individual to join a fast-paced team, where they can develop themselves further through exposure to key projects in a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure software, hardware, and networks to ensure seamless operation.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Assist in ensuring the security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models to maintain optimal performance.
  • Set up new accounts and workstations to facilitate smooth onboarding.
  • Contribute to an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies to promote knowledge sharing.
  • Provide technical support to all employees, ensuring prompt resolution of issues.
  • Design, plan, and execute training on the use of systems and networks to enhance employee skills.
  • Install and configure hardware equipment and software programs to meet business needs.
  • Oversee, track, and measure system and network performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using technical expertise, product knowledge, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Execute maintenance activities as needed to ensure system stability.
  • Collaborate with other IT professionals to uphold IT standards and best practices.
  • Perform other ad-hoc projects or tasks as assigned to support business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Previous working experience in a Support or Network Administrator role.
  • Experience with databases and patch management.
  • Knowledge of system security and best practices.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
  • Ability to adapt to different environments and responsibilities.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT systems, databases, and applications.
  • Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing complex IT issues.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with competent vocabulary.
  • BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Industry Certification.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile on certain projects when needed.
