About the Role

The Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our team as a Band 6 Clinical Lead for Speech and Language Therapy. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with patients with acquired neurological disorders, providing specialist assessment and intervention in community settings.

As a clinical leader, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of service users with complex communication and swallowing difficulties, as well as providing clinical supervision and appraisal to assistants and students.

We offer a competitive salary of £44,414 - £62,677 per annum, depending on experience, as well as excellent training and support to ensure your continued professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Specialist assessment and intervention to designated caseload of service users
  • Clinical supervision and appraisal to assistants and students
  • Participation in ongoing service evaluation and development

Requirements:

  • Degree level or equivalent qualification in SLT recognised by the RCSLT
  • Current HCPC registration
  • Postgraduate training/short courses relevant to working with adults with acquired communication/swallowing difficulties
