We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Life Sciences team at Aldwych Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading technology and innovation projects, including laboratories, biotech facilities, and data centres. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and designers to ensure project success and implement effective processes and systems throughout project lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct background research, data collection, and benchmarking.
  2. Lead technology and innovation projects, including laboratories, biotech facilities, and data centres.
  3. Implement effective processes and systems throughout project lifecycles.
  4. Monitor and document project progress, ensuring performance indicators are met.
  5. Manage and track project changes, ensuring accurate documentation.
  6. Prepare project communication materials, progress reports, and other documentation.
  7. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and designers to ensure project success.
  8. Attend project meetings, drafting minutes and follow-ups as required.
  9. Support business development by preparing presentations and maintaining internal databases.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum of 5 years' project management experience, preferably in construction or real estate.
  2. Relevant qualification in project management or construction management.
  3. Strong understanding of construction industry themes like Net Zero Carbon and the Digital Agenda.
  4. Experience managing large-scale technology and innovation projects in the life sciences sector.
  5. Experience in master planning, estate development, and capital project planning is desirable.
  6. Familiarity with NEC contract administration.
