Senior Credit Control Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Credit Control Officer to join our Credit Control department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring all revenue is collected on time, providing support with the day-to-day management and leadership of the Credit Control team and its processes.
Key Responsibilities- Pursue customers via telephone, email, and letter to process card payments, send suspension/cease notices, and organize payment plans.
- Suspend and cease services for continued non-payment.
- Review accounts, prepare files to send across to our solicitors, and respond to Defences.
- Update and maintain legal reports for senior stakeholders.
- Attend quarterly meetings with the Credit Control Operations Manager and Head of Billing & Credit Control to discuss case files with our Solicitors and answer any queries regarding them.
- Lead by example to achieve optimum output and serve as an escalation point for the rest of the team.
- Previous experience in a Collections/Credit Control role, including exposure/experience with the litigation process.
- Leadership skills/prior experience leading a team.
- A creative approach to problem-solving and overcoming challenges.
- Effective conflict resolution skills.
- Strong organization skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- The ability to be self-motivated and to motivate others.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A competitive salary of £30,000 per annum.
