We are seeking an experienced Credit Control Team Lead to join our busy Credit Control department. This role involves working closely with a tight-knit team to ensure timely revenue collection. You will be responsible for providing support with the day-to-day management and leadership of the Credit Control team and its processes.

As a Credit Control Team Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Pursuing customers via telephone, email, and letter to process card payments, send suspension/cease notices, and organize payment plans.
  • Suspending and ceasing services for continued non-payment.
  • Reviewing accounts, preparing files to send across to our solicitors, and responding to Defences.
  • Updating and maintaining legal reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Attending quarterly meetings with the Credit Control Operations Manager and Head of Billing & Credit Control to discuss case files with our Solicitors and answer any queries regarding them.
  • Leading by example to achieve optimum output and serving as an escalation point for the rest of the team.

  • Previous experience in a Collections/Credit Control role, including exposure/experience with the litigation process.
  • Leadership skills/prior experience leading a team.

  • The ability to be self-motivated and to motivate others.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.

As a Credit Control Team Lead, you will be responsible for pursuing customers to process card payments, sending suspension/cease notices, and organizing payment plans.
