Job Description

We are recruiting for a skilled Children's Healthcare Practitioner to serve as a Public Health Expert, playing a vital role in promoting healthy lifestyles and empowering children and young people to reach their full potential.

About the Role

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for developing, leading, planning, and delivering services that focus on education and healthy living, ensuring optimal child health outcomes in Salford.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement effective public health services for children and their families, operating in diverse settings.
  • Collaborate with multiple agencies to enhance child health and well-being, driving positive change through evidence-based practice.
  • Guarantee the successful execution of the Healthy Child programme, National Childhood Measurement Programme, and Immunisation programme as mandated by DOH.

Essential RequirementsQualifications:
  • Registered Midwife or Nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register.
  • Registered Specialist Community Health Public Nurse (SCPHN) in School Nursing.
  • Clinical Supervision Training.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
  • Proven track record of working with children and families in community settings.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding children and recent legislation.
  • Ability to conduct Health Needs Assessments.
Compensation Package

An attractive salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum reflects our commitment to attracting and retaining exceptional talent in the field of children's healthcare.
