Orthopaedic Department Administrator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Orthopaedic Department Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Trauma and Orthopaedic department, including handling notes and other administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a front-line reception service, delivering a high standard of customer care to a wide range of client groups.
- Collect, investigate, verify, and record patient demographic and treatment data with accuracy and in a timely manner.
- Enter information on the computerized patient information system to ensure the trust receives the appropriate level of income for patient activity.
- Work collaboratively with the team to provide patient-centered care.
About the Role:
This post forms part of the new Kent and Medway Orthopaedic Centre team at Maidstone Hospital. The Centre will expand orthopaedic surgical capacity across Kent and Medway, playing an important part in elective recovery and the reduction of patient waiting times across the region.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and telephone skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will also have a strong attention to detail and be able to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
