About the Role

We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to join our team in the Emergency Departments at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. As an Emergency Department Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to our clinical teams, ensuring the smooth flow of patients through our departments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to clinical teams, including data entry, document management, and communication with patients and staff.
  • Assist with the organization and management of an efficient clerical system, ensuring that all patient information is accurately recorded and up-to-date.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the team to achieve our goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • GCSEs or equivalent relevant experience and ongoing education and training.
  • Basic IT qualification or ability to demonstrate knowledge.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Allscripts PAS.

Working Arrangements

This is a part-time position, working up to 37 hours per week. The shift patterns will be between the hours of 7am and 11pm, including weekends and bank holidays, on a 4-week rolling rota.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £24,071 to £25,674 per annum, pro rata, and a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities.
