We are seeking a highly motivated Digital Threat Defender to join our team and help us stay ahead of the cyber threats.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the protection of our information systems and networks from security breaches and cyber threats.

Main Responsibilities
  • Cyber Security Monitoring and Analysis: Use security and network tools to identify and categorise incidents, ensuring the protection of our information systems and networks from security breaches and cyber threats.
  • Threat Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with the latest intelligence on cybersecurity threats, including malware, ransomware, and phishing tactics, to pre-empt potential attacks and safeguard our digital assets.
  • Policies and Procedures: Contribute to developing security policies and runbooks, and assist in conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and maintain the highest standards of security.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with service providers and other departments to ensure network, system, and data security, fostering a culture of collaboration and cooperation within the organisation.
  • Training and Education: Provide advice and training to staff to raise awareness of information security and promote good security practices, enhancing the overall security posture of the company.
What You'll Need
  • Cyber Security Expertise: A solid understanding of the threat landscape, knowledge of threat actors, TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures), and threat intelligence sources, with hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, plus Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Tech Skills: Exposure to at least one programming/scripting language e.g. Python, and a passion for cyber security and technology.
