We are recruiting a dedicated individual to support the academic and emotional development of a Year 1 pupil at our lovely primary school in Amesbury. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support and create a nurturing environment for the pupil to thrive.

Job Description:
  • Provide 1:1 support to a Year 1 pupil, assisting with learning, behaviour, and emotional development.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and foster the pupil's confidence and independence.
  • Maintain clear communication with the school's staff regarding progress and any concerns.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting.
  • A patient, empathetic approach with the ability to build strong relationships with children.
  • A passion for supporting children's development and helping them reach their full potential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
