Care Specialist for Dementia Clients

We are seeking a skilled Care Specialist to provide high-quality care and support to individuals living with dementia. This role involves working independently at clients' homes, delivering personalized care and support.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver personalized care services to clients, including aspects of personal care, eating, drinking, and medication management.
- Ensure safe usage of personal equipment and aids while respecting client dignity.
- Support clients with social and physical activities, such as staying connected with friends/relatives, shopping, and social networking.
- Respond to emergencies, accidents, incidents, and safeguarding matters, ensuring effective communication with families, carers, and other professionals.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of client information.
- Collaborate with the Care 24-7 team to deliver high-quality care and support.
- Health and Social Care Level 2 minimum.
- Dementia awareness certification at level 2.
- Right to work within the UK.
- Full UK driver's licence.
- Prior experience in a similar role.
- Commitment to ongoing training and development.
- Dedication to supporting individuals living with dementia to enhance their quality of life.
- A good standard of English, both spoken and written, and ability to communicate effectively.
- A warm, compassionate, and personable nature with the ability to work with patience, tact, and understanding.
The estimated salary for this role is £12.30 per hour.
