Senior Manager, Risk, Quality and Complaints - Newcastle

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Operational Excellence team in Newcastle. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving process improvements, managing risks, and ensuring quality across our operations.

  • You will provide strategic direction and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Develop and implement risk management processes aligned with company frameworks, ensuring adherence to client contracts.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks to maintain stability and integrity of administration services.
  • Oversight and monitoring of first-line risk and business teams, including control assurance and incident management.
  • Develop and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Lead complaints management, ensuring timely and effective resolution of client issues.
  • Support internal and client projects with risk and control assessments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and compliance with contractual obligations and regulatory requirements.
  • Presentation of regular reports on risk, quality, and complaints metrics to senior management and clients.

Your Background:

We are looking for a seasoned professional with:

Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a strong ability to motivate and develop staff.In-depth knowledge of operational risk management principles and practices.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and senior management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Attention to detail.Knowledge of superannuation and systems.Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.
