About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Marine Development Specialist to join our team at Environmental Resources Management (ERM). This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile projects in the offshore renewables and subsea cables sectors.

Job Description

This role involves providing consenting, permitting, and general environmental impact assessment support to our clients. You will be responsible for managing projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality technical outputs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects, coordinating with technically-focused employees and external subcontractors.
  • Deliver reports and studies to clients, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, risks, and quality assurance.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Detailed knowledge of the EIA and consenting process for offshore renewables and subsea cables in the UK.
  • Proven project management skills, with experience acting as a PM on previous projects.
  • Business development expertise, including client relationship management and bid preparation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and time management skills.
