Job Description

  • Prepare monthly financial reports and statements to support business decision-making.
  • Monitor cash flow, accounts, and other financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and financial efficiency to drive business growth.
  • Participate in special projects and financial studies to support business objectives.
  • Provide financial training and support to non-financial staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and systems to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Studying towards a professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office applications.

What's on Offer

  • A competitive salary in the range of £33,000 - £35,000 per annum FTE (£22,000 - £24,000 take home).
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays + additional closure days on alternate bank holidays.
  • 5% pension contribution.
  • Flexibility to work hours over 3-5 days alongside flexible working hours (8-4, 9-5, 10-6).
