About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Ørsted's UK Environment & Consents team as an Environmental Consultancy Manager. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in delivering key environmental consents and permits to support our dynamic construction programme across our offshore project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Participate in technical, environmental, regulatory, or stakeholder-focused meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  2. Liaise with internal and external colleagues, including consultants and contractors, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  3. Review and develop environmental and consent documents, including EIA chapters, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  4. Identify and review project risks, providing support to colleagues with their workstreams.

Requirements

  1. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in environmental management or a related science-based field.
  2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on leading specialist topics.
  3. Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
  4. Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver on time and to budget.
